Clad in a striking golden jacket during a China CCTV's Lunar New Year Eve programme, the King of R&B, Jay Chou, nonetheless still lost audiences' attention; 9-year-old boy, Hou-Gao Jiaojie, who performed the song "Herbalist's Manual" with Chou, won it all.

Other than Chou, Hou-Gao has also worked with big-names such as Wilbert Pan, Stephen Fung, Jordan Chan and Alec Su. Rapping and Hip hop being his forte, Hou-Gao also dabbles in singing, dancing, playing of guitar and piano, etc. He is also good at "breaking" (a hip-hop dance move) and is considered the youngest B-Boy around.

"Baby" may be young, but he carries himself well; having won the first place in a Mainland's Hip Hop competition, he is no short of dance experience; Hou-Gao was also involved in Chou's Mainland concert and is well versed in stage performance.
It is even said that he learnt to read at the age of two and started reading the newspapers at four; by six, he was already done with the syllabus for primary school education. He is even capable of reciting up to over a thousand decimal notation for the mathematical constant of Pi (ratio of any circle's circumference to its diameter); such memory is consider to be far superior to that of children the same age.
