I'm sure the majority of you will probably only remember Stephen Chow, Karen Mok and Cecilia Cheung from Chow's 1999's King of Comedy, and probably missed one of Jazz Lam's earlier performances in the entertainment industry. Ever since Jazz Lam came out in the entertainment industry, he has literally been working his way up playing the side kick roles and from his role in "Ghetto Justice" was nominated in the Top 5 Most Improved Male Artist and Best Supporting Actor in the 45th TVB Anniversary Awards. ---> Please take note of the scar This is his look now ! Ever since Jazz Lam posted on Weibo his huge transformation, a lot of netizens were shocked and suprised at his willpower and determination. " When I was small, I really admired those who had a fit muscular body, my idol was Aaron Kwok. I really like to do sports when i was younger, for example football, basketball, I would always take part." "About 16 roughly, I started to train my body, in order to get a fit and health body, to me being more muscular makes you feel more confident in yourself." When filming for Ghetto Justice 2, Jazz had to put on weight specifically for that role until he was 170kg. At that time, even taking a walk he would feel really tired and sluggish, and had little confidence when saying his lines. Jazz firmly believes that keeping fit and a healthy body, doing more exercise greatly reduces the amount of aches and pain one may get and improves the immune system. "There is no such thing as having no time for exercise, you make the time for exercise, you have many choices in how you spend your time , make it count" Diet Regime : Have less oily and fried foods and you can still enjoy good food "I know many people will choose to not eat before working out, however this is actually the wrong method. I unfortunately did this in your younger years and because of this I ended up in hospital due to abdominal pain. So learning from that experience, before i go gym or boxing I will always have something to eat before hand so that my stomach can digest something whilst working out and wouldn't harm it" Focusing on his health from an early age, he is careful of what he eats, often checking out the amounts of calorie food products contain and having less artificial flavourings before consuming. He will let himself off some days and just enjoy a big meal with friends and family. Create your own chances "You create your own chances, hard work doesn't always lead to rewards but not working hard will definitely lead to failure so don't compare yourself to others, work towards improving yourself and do the best that you can." ~~~ Credits: daliulian. Lol, yeah just gotta keep at it. Not give up and be determined. Follow a good routine that focuses on every part of the body, a proper food plan, take the rest days when needed. And you don't need much time, maybe like 1 hr a day. Helps to have someone else to motivate too.
cant say i disagree.... AFter coming home from work, if not going out and eat, i just wanna take a shower and go to sleep
^ this is very true.... these days work work work, come home and feel super tired.. it's soooo hard to get motivated to do exercise. Only motivation is looking in the mirror and see a Bob image staring back
these pics remind me of nick cheung when he got buff....he getting ready for some role too? same trainer the pics look photoshop cause of his kid face lol
I guess nobody noticed the 170kg bit? I'm 100% certain that it was suppose to be 170lb, which is about 77kg. He done well and I actually didn't notice the scar when I watched that movie back in the days! I remember he was saying he got it because he was protecting his friend or something?
To get anywhere near like that, working out is only part of it, still need to have a proper diet. Eating right is more important than working out for a better healthy body. I get boring working out, so I just go play basketball and do a few pull ups and stuff while I'm there. Should make it fun, so pick a sport if you don't like to work out.
