Actress Jessica Hsuan(宣萱) appeared at an old tenement building to film a fire fighting drama series for HKTV. During an interview, she revealed she's playing a paramedic in the drama series: "I am so happy I was able to wear the uniform for an entire day yesterday. (Is filming tiring?) It's not that bad playing as a paramedic. I do save people in the drama. I am actual learning first aid techniques with an actual paramedic on set." But she also indicated that she feels disappointed that filming has ended: "The firefighters were telling us that this is going to be the last series because we did all the stories from saving animals to rescuing people from burning buildings. This is probably the end unless there are other interesting stories for us to film." Regarding the news of actors and actresses leaving TVB, Jessica was asked if she would consider returning to TVB. Jessica said: "My schedule is fully booked until the end of the year already. I will think about it later on as I really don't have the time now. If TVB is asks for my return and there's a good story, I will probably do it. I only left due to contract issues. I am currently only filming dramas that interest me. Everyone knows TVB stories has been pretty bad. It's just Ghost of Relativity has been pretty decent.
Industry wide they must know that TVB series are not what they used to be.... she was a good actress, I really hope HKTV do give TVB a run for its money... but at this stage it doesn't seem that way
All the older famous actors can pick and choose cause they have options. So of course they'll pick something good.
