the stage To prepare for his upcoming concert on Oct 17 at the HongKou Soccer Stadium Jimmy Lin went to the US to learn new dance steps then to Beijing for some intensive drillings. He practiced 7 hrs a day with a dance teacher and 2 hrs of bodybuilding. However the over-exercise didn't turn him into a muscle man but reinjured an old wound. He pulled a muscle in his leg and right shoulder. His manager immediately stopped all the trainings and he rested at home for a week before he got better. According to his manager, "Jimmy suffered injury because he tries to do his best. He is okay now. His fans should be relieved. He is putting a lot of pressure on himself. Besides rehearsing he also attends our meetings and gets involved in every detail. He participated in the stage design and also designed the entrance of his guests Liu YiFei and Wallace Chung." When he was recuperating he also went to the practice hall to sing with the musicians. He said, "I didn't have much chance to work with any musicians lately. I like live music performance.
