After months in secrecy and hiding, 24-year-old singer Jinny Ng (吳若希) finally confirmed in November that she is a few months pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Alex Ho (何兆鴻). The TVB singer has been resting and living in Macau with Alex’s parents. A few days ago, Jinny attended an event in Hong Kong, which was also her first public appearance since confirming her pregnancy news last month. Jinny told reporters that her boss was very generous and accommodating when she first told him about the pregnancy. “There was no scolding. My vacation was requested a long time ago. I also got pregnant around that time.” Though Jinny’s songs will be contending for Most Popular Drama Theme Song at the TVB Anniversary Awards, she will not be attending. “I don’t plan on going, but I’ll think about it if it’s necessary.” Jinny plans to deliver her baby in the United States. Her due day is in May. Her doctor had advised her to be extra careful; being so young and carrying her first child, there’s a high chance of delivering a preterm baby. Line Walker <使徒行者> singer and her boyfriend will not be planning for marriage in the meantime. She and Alex have reached a consensus about their future plans. Asking if she’s interested in doing a maternity photoshoot with her husband, Jinny said, “I don’t think it’ll look good if he’s with me, haha!
