Joe Nieh: Miffty Zhang is "God Sister" Hong Kong reporters received news that Joe Nieh and Miffty Zhang are still privately in contact and he even took the latter as "god sister" without the knowledge of his wife, Vivian Chow. Apparently, this was a move to silence Zhang, lest she spill the beans on their dirty past. Nieh and Zhang's kissing photos were splashed on tabloids end last year and led to dramatic twists in his 20-year romance with Vivian Chow. They sent out press releases to announce their break up but 10 days later they announced their engagement and were officially married on 5th January, all within a month. On the closing ceremony of Hong Kong's "30 hour famine camp" for which Chow was ambassador, she responded to the report by simply saying, "I will not comment on such gossip." In an interview with a China publication, Chow said her husband's kissing scandal was not a big deal; her cat's illness is far more worrying. Chow expressed that a person must learn to love himself or herself before loving others. She said, "There must be self-respect, independence and responsibility. When these qualities are present, there is nothing to be afraid of. Do not get in a relationship for material things, money, or for the sense of security."
