August 9, 2006 戀愛初歌’ is Justin Lo and Kary Ng’s first movie as leads. This movie also features their first onscreen kiss, making this movie even more special to Justin and Kary. In the movie, Justin has always had a secret crush on Kary and never disclosed it because he believes that Kary has feelings for Alex Fong. But not only did Kary not have feelings for Alex, she also likes this shy boy and so, tries to find Justin to explain everything. When Kary finds Justin, she grabs onto him and begins kissing him. This kiss seals their love. On the day of the kissing scene, the two were extremely nervous. Justin went around pouting his lips and exclaiming that he was warming up which caused Kary to laugh. But as Justin and Kary know each other extremely well, the two were not embarrassed when shooting the scene and were willing to shoot the scene several times to fulfil the director’s expectations. After the shoot, Justin said, “Kary is like 10 years younger than me, it feels like I’m kissing my younger sister! And because I usually treat her like a sister, the sensation was extremely weird!” Kary, scared of Justin fans of being jealous, commented, “Everyone knows that Justin has a lot of female fans.
