Kang Ta to Appear in Chinese TV Drama Singer Kang Ta, whose popularity has soared in the Chinese-speaking region, will appear in a special TV drama that will be produced by Chinese broadcaster CCTV. Kang's agency, SM Entertainment, said the drama will mark China's National Day on October 1. The six-episode drama is about three sisters and their adventures in romance. Kang will play a top Korean singer named An Chil-hyun (Kang's real name), who loses his memory after an accident. Kang drew the spotlight at the announcement of the drama's production by appearing in a traditional costume with his partner, Huang Sheng Yi. Kang says he will be able to show his true individuality through his role in the drama. source : kbs
^ that means that drama is going to suck. actors/actresses are supposed to get in character of the script and not showing his individuality!
fun fact: huang sheng yi is the girl who sings the song at the end of kung fu hustle. but yeah, I agree with the posters here. it's cctv. cctv dramas usually involve either 1) bad acting, or 2) general suckage.
CCTV sucks big time .. don't even expect much from them even though I do wanna see how Kangta could act in Chinese ...lol ... his first K-drama stinks ... but his singing is great.
