I'll admit he's a bit overrated as a hip-hop artist, but did any of you guys see his performance of "Hey Mama"? That was real powerful stuff. Here's a link if you guys didn't catch it: RIP
kanye was kinda singing in the beginning (didn't recognize him, sounded like seal lol). but yea this is a pretty sad song, sucks stuff like this usually only come out after tragedies... tupac-dear mama was like the only one without his mom dying... there's nas- dance....sad stuff even though this is more upbeat then others i've mentioned. and yea kanye is overrated but this songs pretty good.
people can hate on Kayne's arrogance which just spews from him, but he likes to wear his emotions on his sleeve...and what better example than the grammy performance. i just give him props to be able to perform something like that in dedication for his mother. i don't know how you can't be moved watching that.
kind of a up and down year for him... he sold alot of albums won alot of awards but in the same year lost his most loved person in his life....he is Strong for performing this song without breaking down.
