Kate Tsui and Christine Ng Show Their Support for Tavia Yeung's Scandal

The public was shocked when Tavia Yeung (楊怡) was photographed with her face on Him Law’s (羅仲謙) lap. Apple Daily implied that the couple’s compromising position was spurred by their unbridled passion, while Tavia claimed that she was heavily drunk and found Him’s lap to be only a comfortable resting spot.

Kate Tsui: “Public Figures Need to Behave Carefully”

Appearing at a function yesterday, Kate Tsui (徐子珊) was asked to comment on Tavia and Him’s “car shaking” incident. Admitting that she was shocked from the photos, Kate said that she has not fully digested what had occurred. “After seeing the pictures, I don’t know how to react. Since I don’t know the full details, I’m not in the position to comment.”

Since Tavia and Him have already clarified that nothing scandalous had occurred in the car, Kate said that she will believe their statement. “We are colleagues, so of course I will support her!”

Asked if she will act with restraint when she went out with a man, Kate replied, “The sad part is that I am not dating now…. As public figures, our behavior should be more careful.”

Christine Ng Does Not Doubt Tavia

Tavia’s good friend, Christine Ng (伍詠薇), was initially shocked by Tavia and Him’s car photos. Knowing Tavia for many years, Christine vouched that Tavia possessed a conservative personality. Doubting that Tavia had conducted herself inappropriately inside the car, Christine fully supported her.

“As her friend, I am clear on how Tavia treats other people and handles matters. As a friend, I was shocked for a bit initially, but it did not have much impact on me. I fully trust what kind of person my friend is. I know that Tavia is very upset, but there is not much to be done,” Christine said.

Adding that the photos were only stills taken from the incident and they were not moving images, Christine said, “The photos do not allow us to explain fully what happened.” Christine added, “Tavia Yeung, I love you! There is no need to care about anything else!”
