Despite her celebrity status, Kate Tsui (徐子珊) prefers to keep her personal life simple and low-key. Although she has taken part in many elaborate on-screen weddings, her real-life ceremony will likely be far less complicated but infinitely more romantic.

While she has been linked with several of her male co-stars throughout her acting career, Kate has never publicly confirmed any of her rumored romance. Fans were given a brief glimpse into her private life in 2012 when her alleged eye doctor boyfriend, Marvin Tse (謝偉業), was spotted spending three nights at her home. At the time, Kate stated that the man was a friend that she was getting to know. By August however, the pair seemed to have split up. There has been no progress on the romance front since then, though Kate had repeatedly spoken about her desire to marry and start a family.

Even though she has yet to find her Mr. Right, Kate is still a believer of love and has already considered what she wants for her dream wedding. Currently filming prison drama The Battle of Tomorrow <再戰明天>, the 34-year-old was on set on March 10 to shoot a scene depicting the wedding of Vincent Wong‘s (王浩信) character. Filming in the bitter cold, Kate quipped that her dream wedding will surely take place in a more comfortable climate. “It will probably be held somewhere warm. I will be surrounded by a group of close friends, so it will probably be very fun. It doesn’t need to be too over-the-top. The beach sounds quite nice!”

Different from her usual glamorous and sexy image, Kate is happy to tie the knot in just a casual chiffon dress and without her signature high heels. Although she has been the heroine of many dramatic on-screen love stories, Kate maintains a healthy and realistic view on relationships. She believes that one should not change drastically just to please someone else, and that a couple should instead learn to grow with and adapt to each other.
