Saturday September 2, 2006 Hong Kong Kathy Chow Denies that Niki Has Stolen Love Kathy Chow yesterday attended a promotional event for Korea’s mobile phone brand, Samsung. At the function, the advertisement featuring herself and Samsung’s spokesperson, Jeon Ji-Hyun, was also broadcasted. Being given a new mobile phone, Kathy expressed that she is very happy as she frequently sends messages to her friends. When asked if she used SMS to send her love to rumoured boyfriend, Julien, Kathy denied the accusation and moved on to reveal that she rarely receives messages from love hopefuls. Throughout the interview, Kathy did not answer any questions regarding her boyfriend which raised many eyebrows and it is believed that the recent reports regarding her having a new love had to do with the denial and silence. When questioned if she and Julien have ‘broke’, thus changing her status to single, Kathy retorted, “Broke? Phones can be broken! How shall I answer this question? As long as I am not married I am single.” Kathy’s younger sister, Niki Chow has always been said to have a crush on Ekin Cheng. Recent reports state that Niki has successfully won the heart of Ekin, evidently stealing Gigi Leung’s love. Regarding this, Kathy firmly stated that she did not believe in such reports and replied, “Niki and Ekin are in the same company and so, they are like brothers and sisters.
