Keep cool this summer with the USB powered air conditioner shirt Japan will be sweltering this month and next with summer temperatures above 30C combined with high humidity. We’ve previously mentioned 2 ways to keep cool with the portable air conditioning spray and for business men to wear the light weight breathable Sou Sou Suit. Now, an ex Sony technician Kouzi Ichigaya has devised a clever shirt that has two 10 centimeter fans located at right and left sides at the back at waist level. These fans draw in air which helps cool down a sweaty body. The shirt comes with a switch to adjust the fan speed and can be connected to your USB port (when your office is too hot) or your car’s cigarette lighter (which is handy when your car’s air conditioner breaks down) or by 4 AA batteries if you just go for a stroll outdoors and don’t mind people looking at your puffy shirt. The shirt specs: Size XL 126/45, fans 1.2W, 325g, material 80 percent polyester, 20 percent cotton. The air conditioner in clothes in not a new concept. Another Japanese, Shuji Matsuhita, invented the Kucho-fuku airconditioned jacket back in 2005.
hah cool idea...... what happenes if the batteries get wet?? it kinda looks like speakers. like those backpac with speakers on the sides.
