Kenneth Ma (馬國明) has been extremely busy ever since he won the 2012 TVB My Favourite Male Character Award. In fact, filming schedules have caused him to live life like an owl. With his days and nights reversed, Kenneth’s skin underwent major suffering. So whenever he has the time, he would treat himself to a facial. Currently filming for new TVB drama, Season of Love <戀愛季節>, Kenneth told the press that it has been seven years since he and Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) portrayed an onscreen couple. The last time was in To Grow With Love <肥田囍事> back in 2006. Kenneth said, “In Season of Love, I am a private detective and Myolie is a historical relics graduate. We met while investigating a crime. We haven’t portrayed a romantic couple in so long. Can’t believe that I will finally be able to go after her this year!” Sometimes Kenneth would only get two or three hours of sleep during the days he has to film. As a result of this, his skin condition worsened. Like many men, Kenneth does not possess much knowledge about skin care. In his free time, he would simply opt for a facial. “I go every week, or try my best to make it at least once a week.” He expressed. “Being able to just lie there and let people do their thing is very relaxing!” Last year’s medical drama, The Hippocratic Crush <On Call 36小時>, was a hot favorite amongst the audience. It has been decided that the filming of the sequel will commence in mid-February. Kenneth will resume his popular role of Dr. Cheung Yat Kin, continuing his onscreen sparks with Tavia Yeung’s (楊怡) character, Fan Chi Yu. In addition, Lawrence Ng (吳啟華) will join the cast in The Hippocratic Crush II <On Call 36小時 II>. Kenneth revealed that he is Lawrence’s fan, and had loved his role as Paul Ching in the Healing Hands (妙手仁心) installments. Creds: Oriental Daily
