Currently named as one of TVB’s top diamond bachelors, Kenneth Ma (馬國明) laughed it off and exclaimed, “Every man in TVB who isn’t married yet is a diamond bachelor!” All this time, he has been taking the media’s reports lightheartedly and treating them as a way of promotion instead. At 39 years old, Kenneth revealed he has never been chased by women, and it has always been the other way around. “The women I know are all very reserved,” he said. At a function event for a watch brand in Happy Valley, Kenneth was caught in gentleman action. After completing a catwalk with model, Jocelyn, he noticed the rim of her dress was caught and immediately helped fix it. Although surrounded by female colleagues each day, Kenneth revealed he is not romantically linked with anyone and thanked reporters for writing about him. “One’s imagination is perfect, but reality is cruel!” Recently, Kenneth completed a movie project in mainland China. When asked if he is popular among women there, Kenneth replied, “Women from Shanghai and Beijing have high standards. They’re all very pretty and have gorgeous figures. I’m not qualified enough!” In terms of career options, Kenneth expressed he favors dramas more than films, since it allows him greater freedom of development. TVB previously issued a new policy that is supposed to benefit its artists by providing a smoother filming process and allowing them more breaks. It has been stated filming should not exceed 10 hours at a time and scripts must be 80 percent completed before filming begins.
