Spotted at the Hong Kong International Airport yesterday on their way to Seoul, Korea for the TVB Lunar New Year video recording were Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), Raymond Lam (林峯) and Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣).

Every Lunar New Year, TVB will celebrate the event with a big show, and it looks like it will be no different this year, with several of its artists flying to Seoul for video recordings. Each of the 4 artists – Myolie, Kevin, Raymond and Linda will have their performance segment. While Raymond will break out in dance, the rest will use their vocals for Mandarin or English songs.

Like the past 3 years, Kevin will be working through the Lunar New Year. This year, he will have his hands full with his new mainland China show. As such, he will be in China until May. However, fans of Kevin need not despair as they will be able to catch him on Hong Kong’s J2 channel where Ip Man <葉問> will be telecast.

Previously, Kevin has announced that he would not be filming Bu Bu Jing Xin 2 <步步惊心 2> due to conflict in filming schedules. When reporters asked him about his loss of 14 million HKD incomes because of this missed opportunity, he said, “Don’t believe the rumor. But Bu Bu Jing Xin 2 is scheduled to be aired during the Mid-Autumn Festival period so filming cannot be delayed (for me).” Although Kevin’s schedule does not allow him to partake in this sequel, he hopes to be able to guest star in it.

    Not Even Half a Stroke

Earlier this week, Myolie has come forward, admitting that she has a pursuer from outside the entertainment industry. When pressed further, Myolie smiled sweetly and said, “I’m fine sharing with everyone my happiness, but regarding the progress of my relationship, we’re not even half a stroke yet,” referring to the baby stage of her relationship.

Hearing that Ekin Cheng (鄭伊健) and Yoyo Mung (蒙嘉慧) have secretly gotten married on Monday, the artists were filled with joy and blessings. Linda, who treats Ekin as her mentor feels that the couple are extremely compatible, with their common love for sports and computer games. She said, “I wish them eternal happiness. I know they do not want children, but I really hope they will try! They are such a good looking couple; I’m sure their baby will be gorgeous too!”

Raymond, who was the last at the airport, chipped in upon hearing about the happy news, “I asked Ekin and ‘Sister’ before when their wedding date is but they always evaded the question. Still, I am happy for them! Hopefully when they come back to Hong Kong, they can hold a wedding reception, or even a dinner gathering will be good.”
