A lot of car chases result in property damage, injury, or even loss of life. What do you guys think of have a kill-switch system installed in future cars? That way, police officers and other law enforcers are able to slow the speeding car down to idle speed -- to stop any recklessness from happening -- with just a press of a button?
Perhaps we should have something like that for houses, then the police can access our homes with a click of a button. No. It gives them way too much power over citizens and it will lead to other things because of this precedent. The fact that they can't effectively apprehend criminals doesn't mean we have to surrender our rights to them. It is their own ineptitude that results in such damages.
No way stage 2 would be, if you go past a speed camera 3% over the speed limit it will turn your car off and make you wait for the police to come.
Are you kidding? If they have such system in the car, I would believe no one ever one want of those stupid program in the car. If that is the case, i rather drive a GEO METRO.
