Laptop

Hi,

I need to buy a laptop in China (off a website in china) anyone know where I can go to look at some? Or would it be better to buy from the UK where I live and then send it over, (I'm buying a laptop for someone who lives in China)

You should buy from a location where warranty wouldn't be a problem. If you can get the warranty transferred, then by all means go with the best deal.

 

umm....if i was you id play it safe and just buy from uk....
unless you know the person/company you're buying it from...plus that way you have someone to blame if it breaks

 

agreed or just go to china and get a laptop there would be a better option.

Not recommended buying a laptop off a web in China, if you want to buy it in China, buy it in store so you know what you're getting. Best is buy it in UK.

 

check on warranty or repair problems for europe versus asia. had camera, japanese, break; in asia near japan. had to ship overseas for 'free' repair as device purchased there.

 

mm, speaking to the person i am getting the laptop for earlier, they seem to think it'd be better to buy in europe and then ship it over as well. guess it's a done decision

just curious, i would like to know the estimated cost of shipping for the 3-5 kg package from UK to China? thanks in advance.
