    UK similar to Australian Law?

Statue Law means that it is made through the Parliament as oppose to Common Law which is made by Judges

still remember a thing or too from Legal studies lol

If its similar, just to elaborate Common law is law made by judges in rulings where there are no statute laws governing that certain area. Common Law can be changed by the rulings of a higher court, or by statute law.

But if you're doing Law at uni.. You would have done this I guess. I have no idea what contractual terms are though.

sorry this reply might be a little late

the question of statuses affecting contracts may have to do with the status of the person signing the contract, like whether he or she is incapacitated or a minor

as far as I know, minors and incapacitated individuals can't be legally bound to contracts that they sign, which is why people often give power of attorney
