Leehom says he will reveal a new Leehom to 2 years ago to Shanghai in this year's concert. At the press conference, Leehom poured champagne and red wine, played with a toy car and posed beautifully and kept the press busy. Leehom was friendly and easy going and posed until the press were satisfied with their pictures. Leehom has been awarded as the ambassador for fighting against pirated disks. When Leehom was told many of his oversea fans used his songs to learn Chinese, he said he only started to learn Chinese when he was 17 years old and he often used Jacky Cheung and Harlem Yu's lyrics as his Chinese text book! He encouraged people to discover the beauty of Chinese lyrics. Leehom values this Shanghai concert very much and has been practicing hard on his vocal and dance performances. He said he misses the concert he had in Shanghai 2 years ago, as the fans and atmosphere was touching and he often thinks about it. He said this time, the concert will be all new especially the way he kicks off the show. On the day of his 2006 concert will also be the day for singer Sandy Lin to hold her concert in Shanghai. Leehom says he would really want to go to Sandy's concert and watch her perform! Leehom says the concert will be based on his Chinked out music and will include music styles from Chinese cultural minorities, Beijing Chinese Opera and Kun Qu. He will also perform the song his fans from China wrote for him "Love on my mind" at the concert. As for special guests at his concert, Leehom will be choosing from a list including names such as Westlife, Mayday, David Tao, Rain, Lim Jeong Hee. The concert will be held on the 12th August 2006 and Leehom says his whole family will be in Shanghai to support his show including his sister in law, his elder brother, his baby nephew and baby niece, younger brother Lee-Kai & his mum and dad. 5000 fans from Japan have already formed a group and will be buying tickets to support him that day.
