Leehom Wang Busy With New Album; To Be Released in May

LEEHOM WANG BUSY WITH NEW ALBUM; TO BE RELEASED IN MAY

A while back WANG LI HONG (Leehom Wang) has been busy filming for his new movie as well as having overseas concert tours. It has been over a year since he had last been in contact with his fans in Taiwan. Yesterday afternoon Leehom attended a function as the endorser of a shampoo brand. Besides meeting with the paparazzi, he had attracted many female fans that skipped class just to see him. Leehom also promised his fans: "The new album will be released in May."

Before Leehom, the endorser for this shampoo brand was LEUNG CHIU WAI (Tony Leung). Leehom and Tony had also worked together for LI AN's (Ang Lee) latest film "SE, JIE (Lust, Caution)". Leehom praised Tony and said that Tony was really professional and praiseworthy. He had learned a lot from Tony and he wished that they would be able to cooperate again next time.

During "Lust, Caution's" production stage, Leehom had been entirely occupied by his character in the movie and therefore did not have the opportunity to do any composing and producing for his new album. His album released had to be postponed. Leehom also said that he's getting impatient. "In the past my album releases had been around the last week of December. This year we have to wait for a while. Many fans had left messages online about this. I will definitely get to work and try my best."

After "Lust, Caution" finished filming in February, Leehom immediately concentrated in producing his album. In the new comercial for this shampoo brand, it will contain his latest composition. The main focus on the album will be a tad similar to his previous albums, "chinked-out", but with the influence of the background of "Lust, Caution." Lately Leehom has been working out and going to the gym, as well as preparing for the upcoming promotions for his album.
