Friday November 16, 2007 Hong Kong Leila Tong: A New Page - Jessica Magazine Interview Although Leila’s only 25, but she has a lot more acting experience than many people in the industry. She is definitely an “old actress”. But since she is only 25; her acting career is still long and distant, trying to find breaking points are very normal in the industry. Originally thinking that she would return to the “Big Screen”, she decided to take steps towards the music industry, hoping to bring new breakthroughs and writing a new page to her career. New Change From her position as a child star, Leila is still an actress today. After all these years, she’s given the acting industry one hundred percent of her commitment and abilities, thinking that she would stay as an actress forever more. But up to recently, she made the decision for a new change. “Since entering the industry, I’ve been only doing acting. I’ve realized that the more I act, the more I am interested in it. This time becoming a singer, is not that I want to leave career of acting, it’s just that I was given this lucky opportunity. I was just wanted to find what I could do besides acting. I see this new opportunity as a new challenge for myself”. credits: jessicasweekly.
ya, she is pretty ... and i watched her shotting while she is at her age around 5 to 6.. " Once Upon A Thief" http://mic7879fans.multiply.com michelle
saw her in state of divinity when she was like in her early teens lol, she's still pretty young, and she looks cute in some of these pics
She's an okay actress (75/100) I find she over act in some dramas like in "Family Link". Personally, I think she should stay in the acting side of the entertainment business. (I don't understand why all actor/actress wanna cross over like Ray Lam.) Point is that crossing over could make or break you sorta speak especially for those who started out in acting. People have seem your familiar faces on television and when you're lost in singing, people will eventually forget you. Entertainment world is very fast-paced industry and people too are busy; not like they will remember you and support you. People only hear your voice in singing and unless you have huge and I mean "huge" support and marketing, no one will "really" know you. Rain is an example. Thus far, he's got huge promotions left and right ... his film rating failed to launch after "Full House". The ended up staying in singing. You don't see that many artists crossing over successfully.
yesss....i loved the left and middle pic.... very pretty....shes a great actress.... hmmm....i hope she can really sing....and that shes not like some of those actresses who ATTEMPT but mess up big time...
I think Ive seen her acting in Greed of Man(Adam Cheng and Lau Ching Wan). She acted as Damien's daughter where her whole family die except for Lau Ching Wan...~~!! ANd she is still so young~~!!
WOW......she sure looks different in the pictures. with the short wavy hair in the 3rd pic, she looks really mature compared to her previous young and innocent images. she looks really nice
