In the drama department, Till Love Do Us Lie <結.分@謊情式> averaged 26 points, Let It Be Love <4 In Love> averaged 27 points, while L’Escargot <缺宅男女> peaked at 40 points, averaging 36 points. Despite the airing of L’Escargot over the Lunar New Year holiday time frame, the ratings results were quite impressive. The Broadcasting Authority received 11 complaints from audience members, who protested that the drama twisted the issue of extramarital affairs (interwining it with gratitude, which did not meet ethical standards) as well as a bad woman rewarded, which was unreasonable. At first I was like wtf they complain about everything. &then after reading it more I realized I agree. lol Linda sexing up Michael was so obvious it wasnt only to repay him. 1) he didnt tell her to. 2) she already started liking him. I hate that TVB portrayed her character like that.
^exactly. its just retarded. her character's a messed up bitch yet still wanna be a good girl at the same time. michael's love philosophies are completely fucked up
Nah yo that's not the point of the story, if you all actually understood the reasons behind (not just to save her family) then you'll understand, 11 complaints out of probably 1 million viewers... I think y'all are the minority here.
yea, let's not pretend everyone is rational and morally correct. life is tough. good ending, i guess felt it was a bit rushed, tvb style
Although the ending wasn't pretty good, overall this is the best drama i've seen from TVB in a while...the recent ones have been so crappy.
wow thats so good, i missed this series why my laptop was out of action, hope to catch up on it, 40 points is a really good mark, hope tvb shows more great series
