does anyone know how to limit bandwidth of other computers on the net on the same network? i've got a netgear DG834GV.does it hav any functions to reduce the bandwidth through certain ports? or are there any programs to limit the bandwidth. Thanx

so i can play games and to stop going over the download quota i remembered netlimiter, but u need to pay to use the limiter part.. only has monitoring as freeware. i was hoping for some freeware suggestions
couldn't u just tell other ppl to stop using their internet as much at certain times by setting up a rota perhaps so that way everybody can use the internet heavily at certain periods.
if you want to limit downloads cap your bandwidth with the bit torrent program? if you want to limit computers, u need aftermarket like dd-wrt or somethjing.
