Hi, I'm using a router to share my internet connection. The problem is that my sharing-buddy is using a bittorrent program and downloads all the time!!! As a result the router crashes continuously and my internet connection is down. I know that the router is crashing, because the bittorrent program makes too much ip connections. My sharing-buddy won't adjust the settings of his bittorrent program. How can I limit the number of ip connections on his computer? Is there a program, that limits the number of ip connections, which I can install on his computer without him knowing? ThX
I wouldn't call him a "buddy" if he's too selfish to limit his connections on his BT program. Unless he has done tweaks to his machine, he'll get the same download speed if he has 300 connections per task or 1500 connections per task.
