At the premiere for American film Man of Steel on June 25, Philip Ng (伍允龍) reassured that his relationship with rumored girlfriend Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) is stable, and shared that he would publicly announce his marriage when the time comes. Linda is currently preparing for her upcoming solo concert in August, sharing photos of her practice sessions on social media. Reporters asked Philip if he will attend Linda’s first solo live show; the 35-year-old said that he will be busy filming movies and may not be able to make an appearance. Earlier, Linda was involved in rumors claiming that her music label, Star Shine International, is investing all of its resources to promote her. Label-mate Elanne Kong (江若琳) was reportedly dismayed by the act, and declined to renew her contract. Philip defended Linda when asked to comment. “I’ve never heard her complain about this. She works very hard.” When reporters asked Philip to confirm his relationship status with Linda, he said, “We have a very good relationship. Nothing changed. We do want to maintain our privacy. If I ever get married, I wouldn’t mind sharing the news with the public.” Asked about his good friend Andy On (安志杰)’s breakup with former love Jennifer Tse (謝婷婷), Philip shared that he had met with both Andy and Jennifer since then and that both are doing well.
