Friday, April 13, 2007 Hong Kong Caption: Virginia Lok gathered a group of TVB artists to attend the premiere of Linda Chung's new movie, "Totally in Love." Linda Chung Ka Yan's first movie, "Totally in Love" 《十分愛》 held its premiere last night. TVB executive, Virginia Lok Yi Ling also brought artists, Shirley Yeung Si Kei, Tracy Ip Chui Chui, Shum Wing Ning, Matthew Ko Nancy Wu Ding Yan, Suki Chui Suk Man etc. to the premiere to support Linda. The TVB entourage stole the limelight from movie leads, Alex Fong and Stephy Tang. At the premiere, there was a man who grabbed headlines by displaying a t-shirt with the words, "Andy Lau, The Shame of China," in protest of his recent silence over his fan, Yeung Lai Koon's father's death. He claimed Andy paid him $500 a day for his activities, while also muttering, "I'm completely disappointed in Andy Lau!" The man's words were nonsensical and his presence caused a stir in the crowd. Linda wore a gold-colored dress which was quite eye catching. Regarding the attendance of Ms. Lok, she laughed, "Ms. Lok loves each artist and with a free slot on her schedule, she was able to attend tonight, even inviting some of my friends from Vancouver!" Was Linda anxious over the box office performance of her first movie? "I watched the trailers earlier; hopefully the box office will be satisfactory. Stephy and Alex's earlier movie, 《獨家試愛》had good results, so hopefully 'Totally in Love' will do well too!" "Last month was my birthday; perhaps this will bring extra luck to the movie's performance!" Despite receiving sponsorship for $500,000 (HKD) in jewels, Stephy's limelight was stolen by Linda Chung. Since there was a fan protesting Andy Lau at the premiere, did this impact Stephy and Alex's enjoyment of the event? Stephy replied, "I didn't notice the protester. woooohooo goo linda, got that bg family supporting her. kind of funny to hear that Linda only got a small part yet still took the spotlight from the main leads.
