Linda Chung’s (鍾嘉欣) fourth album, Love Love Love, achieved platinum status since its November release. Linda celebrated the good sales of her album by meeting with 200 hundred fans and thanking them for their support in Tai Po. With the Lunar New Year holiday only two weeks away, the mall was decorated with festive peach blossoms. Fans enthusiastically participated in the game segment of Linda’s celebratory gathering. While writing down auspicious wishes for the Lunar New Year, fans wished that Linda will have a concert in the Year of the Snake. Fans even created a mock super-sized concert ticket, after which Star Shine International’s founder, Herman Ho (何哲圖), announced plans to organize a concert for Linda in August or September. Herman said, “I’ve collaborated with Linda for the longest time, so it is like watching her grow up.” Asked if Herman especially favored Linda over other artists at the company, Linda said that he treated all the artists at Star Shine International fairly and well. Able to fulfill her concert dreams, Linda’s eyes grew misty. “I’m able to be singing here today thanks to my music company and my fans. I wanted to cry before, but I told myself to take a deep breath and hold back.” For the New Year, Linda hopes to take on new challenges that she was afraid of in the past, such as dancing and portraying villain roles. “Although I don’t have a dance background, I believe that I will be able to accomplish it with persistence. It is because there is difficulty that I can improve.” Linda will return to her hometown, Vancouver, to visit her family to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The last time she had visited Canada was in April, in which Linda celebrated her 28th birthday with her family and old classmates. Creds: Oriental Daily
