The crime thriller, which opened in Chinese and Hong Kong theaters on August 11, grossed $1,104,260 HKD in Hong Kong on opening day, and grossed an additional 60,000,000 RMB in Mainland China. Line Walker’s main competitor was the superhero film Suicide Squad, which opened in Hong Kong on August 4. The stars of Line Walker have all expressed their happiness and satisfaction with the box office results.
