Nicholas Tse and Cecilia Cheung are at war with each other regarding advertisers' requests to put their son in commercials.

Tse previously expressed that he has turned down a HK$10million (about S$2million) endorsement offer on his son's behalf to avoid affecting his son's childhood and healthy growth.
Though the father was firm in his decision, advertisers are still hot on his heels. Recently, a Chinese property firm is offering RMB38million (about S$7.6million) for the family to endorse their products for two years. In the face of the large sum in exchange of their son's exposure to the public, Tse and Cheung had bipolar views.
The family of three was seen recently having afternoon tea in a restaurant. The heart-warming scene started turning ugly when the couple got agitated in their conversation, leading to an argument which lasted for almost 10minutes.
An insider said, "They would be lying if they said they have not considered such a good deal. But Nicholas does not wish for his son to go down the same path he did. His parents were celebrities and he was a child star; he understands how a child will suffer. But Cecilia thinks otherwise. She felt that the shoot would only take a week; they can take it as a holiday and it will not affect Lucas. Apparently they've quarreled over this for a couple of times."
According to reports, one of them has succumbed and suggested endorsing as a couple instead. They are still negotiating the reimbursement amount with the client.
