Sunday January 21, 2007 Hong Kong Louis Cheung Gai Chung and Kay Tse On Kei got offically married yesterday. They held their wedding banquet at the luxury hotel of the airport, with Miriam Yeung, Charlene Choi, Niki Chow, Fiona Sit, Stephanie Cheng, Wilfred Lau etc. in attendance. Yesterday morning after going out to buy breakfast Louis immediately went back home to tidy himself up. Even though there was someone who said their wedding was very ordinary, but from what was seen yesterday the ostentation was not bad at all. Louis prepared a decorated golden Benz, with a garland on the front. His father who was appearing very happy and dressed in red also handed out "lai see/red packets" to the reporters. Before going off Louis expressed that he isn't nervous and that he has arranged to meet up with his "brothers" at 12 pm at the hotel of the airport to pick the bride and the "sisters" up, among those were Kay's good friends Ivana Wong, Jan @Krusty etc. DJ Leung, one of the brothers, kept saying that he believes Jan has something up her sleeves. The bridal pair accompanied by the brothers and sisters appeared dressed in traditional Chinese wedding outfits at the location of the wedding banquet. Kay had her hair tied in two small buns and on both of her wrists there were five pair of Longfong bracelets adding on golden necklaces on her neck. As Kay is already 5 months pregnant Louis had to support her, to prevent her from being pushed by the "brothers" and reporters. After verifying that everything was under control they stood still to let the reporters take photos before going off to the groom's home to carry on the traditional ceremony. When the brothers were asked whether the sisters played the groom. Donald expressed: ["There were only 3-4 games; doing push-ups, eating cakes etc.] Around 4 pm the bridal pair returned to the hotel to prepare the wedding ceremony. One of the brothers Sai So revealed that neither Louis nor Kay cried but they did share a kiss, which made the scene very warm. The arrangement of the wedding banquet was simple, with 42 tables, the register of the guests in white with Kay and Louis's pictures on the left and right side. Before the wedding registration Louis accepted an interview, he said ["I'm very happy, I'm now nervously awaiting the ceremony, the most important thing is to make my wife happy, I want our wedding to be romantic and warm."] The ceremony was supposed to start at 6pm but in the end it was delayed to 7pm. Kay and Louis had changed to white tuxedo and wedding dress respectively, and after completing the ceremony they once again went out to let the reporters take photos. It was clearly seen that they both had their gigantic diamond rings on. When the reporters requested them to kiss Kay and Louis rejected them. Louis said ["Thank you all, it has been a laborious day for you, I'm very happy. We will continue to live happily ever after."] credits: Oriental Daily News, asianfanatics.
