Saturday August 19, 2006 Hong Kong Love at First Note' Starring Justin, Alex & Kary Tops HK's Box Office Hong Kong movie ‘Love at First Note’ starring Justin Lo, Kary Ng and Alex Fong as leads has beaten Hollywood’s ‘Lady in the Water’ and ‘Miami Vice’ to move to first place of Hong Kong’s summer holiday’s box office. Kary, who in the movie has poo thrown on her, believes it was all worth it. Having ‘Love at First Note’ doing so successfully, the stars are extremely happy including acting newbie, Justin. The success of his first leading movie has given him a confidence booster. The movie’s lead, Kary, is also over the moon, as this is her first movie she leads in. In the movie, Kary’s real life friends, Theresa Fu and Stephy Tang, pours poor on her. This act has changed the normally very gentle Theresa and Stephy. Kary commented, “In the movie I have poo poured on me. Although the ‘poo’ was only made out of chocolate and wheat bits, it was not a nice feeling! But it smelt really nice and because I like chocolate it was alright.” Alex, who was also part of the evil ‘plot’ praised Kary by saying, “She was really professional.
