Has anyone tried to install Mac TIGER OSX 10.47 on a regular INTEL PC?

    well I have on a

    INTEL Pentium D 945 (3.4Ghz Dual Core)
    ASUS P5LD2 Motherboard
    2GB DDR2
    160GB SATA
    DVDWRITER
    NVIDIA 7800GT PCIE video card

and it works great. I am not a Mac person but I was curious as to why so many
Mac users hate Windows XP users.

I am able to surf the net using MAC Safari brower and type documents and print them using a USB HP Inkjet printer.

So far I'd have to say MAC OSX is kinda Monkeyproof. But I still like Microsoft Windows better.

    Nirvania I'm BRACK!?

well PC users dislike MACs also, its because MAC users are too used to

the MAC interface and can't stand using a PC and vice-versa. MACs are

great for productivity such as email, web surfing, and word processing,

but if you are a gamer, you would have to go with a PC because most PC

game manufacturers only make their games for windows. Sometimes we

have to use MACs at school, but i don't mind, since its only to type.

By the way vincent, you have a pretty nice rig

Depends on your use of computers. I think if you are a gamer, then stick to PCs with fast GPUs/Dual CPU/Tonnes of RAM/ Liquid Cooled, etc, etc. U can surf the net and processing.

With Mac, u can do more with graphics editing, movies editiing, and it has very little virus written on the OS. Most of the software comes with it but if u want something like Microsoft Office, there is OpenOffice for free that u can download and use on the MAC. OfficeOffice can be used for Windows as well-cool

Unix workstations are useless for home use unless u r into programming stuff. (No fun to play with )

I can only say Apple Mac's for now don't seem to have any Spyware or Virus issues like Windows XP.

But I still like Windows XP better.........because all of my online games only run under Windows XP such as HALF Life 2, Counterstrike source, Halo, and Need For Speed Carbon Copy.
