the macbook air is gonna be the bomb. if they release one with slightly lower specs for 1300 il consider it. i suspect Time Capsule will also sell very well
I so want the Macbook Air!!!! But sadly, the battery like every other Apple products is irreplaceable... :(
1700 for 1.6 ghz core duo 2 gigs ram 80 gig HDD 144 mb onboard GPU 13" screen an additional 1300 dollars if you want to upgrade to the 64 GB solid state HDD
very very sleek and very sexy, but low specs and no user replaceable battery/components etc. (actually unsurprising to me considering it's form factor though) hmmm....wonder how much it weighs.
actually after looking it over a little more, i definitely couldn't justify 1700 for a 13" laptop. i think there is a little too much form and not enough function. the fact the battery isn't replaceable will really kill this thing as well. i suspect apple will release a new version of this thing in a few months with a removable battery, there is already so much outrage about it in the apple community. that said, im sure it will still sell in droves.
cost way too much.. doesn't worth it... 1,700 for a 13" laptop? i can buy about 2 laptops or 1 super good gaming computer for that price??? >.<
The MacBook air looks stunning, but I think I'd rather get the normal white 13" MacBook. However seeing the MacBook air did give me a nerdgasm. LOL EDIT: nice to see some new features on the iPhone. Like Maps! Finally lol. Still not gonna get one :\. I'm not that rich :( EDIT2: To bad the air doesn't have an optical drive. But that remote disc feature is a pretty cool way to fix it.
