Tuesday December 04, 2007 Hong Kong Maggie Cheung (張可頤) appeared as a guest at a cosmetics promotion today, but pointed out that she was just there as a guest and has not been signed as a spokesperson by the company. She revealed that she has a cosmetics sponsor already and has saved herself a lot of money over the years. She also laughed that maybe she has built an image of being vain in the past, so she often receives offers of work for beauty products, but never for kitchenware or sports gear. Despite being offered sponsorship contracts from many companies, Maggie said that there have been some that she has turned down in the past. She explained that she has to try the product for herself first before she will agree to endorse it. Asked if she is interested in entering the beauty business, Maggie replied that she is not interested because she is better at acting and does not have any experience. She suggested that maybe she will take it up when she retires. As for what she is investing her savings in, she said that she is not very inspired when it comes to money, so she will invest in clothes and cosmetics, so whenever she moves house, she has to instruct her mother not to throw her things away because they are part of her dowry when she gets married.
