maggie Q is a pretty crappy actress, and not particularly good looking. to be honest the only movie i want to see her in is that supposed sex vid she had with edison lol
With the reason news about her attitude, not participating in promos in HK and demands for certain things over the top. It's really is a turn off to hear an actress act like a snob once she got a little fame.
well, it is an advantage in hollywood if you speak fluent english and she looks good in the shot with ethan hawke....
I personally dnt think she will make it that big. Zhang ziyi was a phase, shes not that popular now, likewise maggie Q will just be a phase too b4 pple get bored of them. The films Maggie Q has been in was only small and very forgettable roles. Unless she lives america and makes gossip she wnt be big - unless she is a great actress (as in cate blanchet etc great) - which she isnt.
O this is similar to Paris, J'adore. I can't wait to watch it. I love Natalie Portman. And I've never seen maggie speak english before when is it going to come out??
Well Maggie Q does have an advantage because of her fluency in English. Acting wise, Zhang Ziyi wins hands down. ' I also find Ziyi more beautiful.
Not a fan of these half casts in hk entertainment. Reason why they are popular is bcause they are half white and most chinese ppl regard them as pretty, special and even superior! Evidence - most models in Hk are part chinese e.g. Lisa S, Amanda whatever etc. Im not interested. Im not a zhang ziyi fan as well but I feel she knows her own identity and definately represents her own country, which is why I feel she is more special. Plus she knows Kung Fu and westeners like that.
