The police has confirmed Taiwanese actress and model, Maggie Wu (吴亚馨) to be a victim in Justin Lee’s (李宗瑞) sex photos scandal. Maggie initially scheduled a media conference on August 18th to explain the scandal publicly, under the company of her mother and Taipei City Councilor Hsu Shu Hua (許淑華). Drugged? LOL... She was ho'ing and got caught at it. Remember HK's Gillian Chung? She had publicly protested, tearfully lamenting the loss of honor and innocence after paparazzi surreptitiously photographed her (in her wardrobe changing room), but then had to literally STFU and hide when images of her eating tube steak emerged. Further, it wasn't just one pic of her slurping banana, but an entire photo series (courtesy of player Edision Chan) that made it certain that it wasn't Photoshopped or otherwise digitally manipulated. Was she drugged? Hell no, she wanted to get banged by Edison, as did many of the other HK media honeys. Frankly, the women within this celebrity milieu all eventually get bedded down by some well heeled player. In fact, it's rather expected that celeb women originally join these venues simply because they want to meet and bag some rich man, allowing them to retire into a life of luxury. Justin Lee, for all of his human faults, nonetheless remains a financial princeling that could have had his fill of any of these women even without drugs; that is, 99.9% of these starlets would literally kill for the chance to be f.ucked by him. Maggie Wu, for all intents, is simply attempting damage control to her public image. The claim that she, et al, were "drugged" suggests a patina of innocence; ie. that it was against her will, so to speak. But IMHO, it was clearly anything else but.

Well, yes and no; you wouldn't find shit like this back in the 90's not because it wasn't happening, but rather the technology wasn't yet there to allow such easy recording and dissemination of the recorded acts. That is, IMHO the casting couch syndrome was already a well known Hollywood fact since, ...well, even before Hollywood was Hollywood. The trading of sexual favors for consideration of a better situation in life, be it a better role in a new movie, or being a well kept concubine is something that men and women of power have understood, and used, since time immemorial. Oh, I'm certainly not disputing the fact that people did in fact, get filmed in compromising situations of the past. However, the onerous logistics winnowed the availability of the process only to a very select and technically capable few (eg. government agencies) that could afford and manage such elaborate affairs. It was certainly not something at the fingertip of your average playboy of yesteryear. By contrast, had the same ease of recording that we have today been available back then, who knows just what else of historic value we may now be privy to. Imagine if one could have instantly recorded with something the size of a package of cigarettes (similar size to today's cell phone) back in the early 1900's; it would have changed history as we know it. Just picture having secret videos depicting Chairman Mao squatting down like a girl to piss, J Edgar Hoover banging his (male) assistant, or Madame Chiang Kai-shek blowing Wendell Willkie.
