Last year, it was rumored that Danson Tang was not on good terms with his management company GTV. In the end, he was sent to China to film dramas. As a result, he was virtually non-existent in Taiwan during the second half of 2009. However, yesterday afternoon, he was spotted at a coffee shop in Taipei. He was seen chatting with others regarding official matters. Perhaps Danson has already changed management companies?

At the same time, fans have already revealed that many of Danson’s updates are coming from a management company named Comprise Boundless Entertainment Co. Ltd. They suspect he has already switched managers.

From previous records, although Danson was signed under GTV, the company completely pushed him to the side. Almost all of GTV’s idol dramas picked Fahrenheit, Joe Cheng etc. as the main leads. Meanwhile, Danson could only receive the second male lead even as his popularity was rising overseas.

There were even rumors that GTV had fired the staff close to Danson. He was quite disappointed and decided to end his contract with GTV early.
We asked Comprise Boundless Entertainment Co. Ltd to confirm Danson’s whereabouts. Yesterday afternoon, he had actually been meeting with his former manager from GTV, Xiao Long. Xiao Long admitted that he met with Danson, but he explained: “Danson still has 2 years left in his contract with GTV so GTV asked me to help him formulate a plan for his entertainment future.”

So Danson accepted GTV’s apology and decided to stay. Still, he lacks a sense of security so GTV got someone he was familiar with: Xiao Long. It is expected that fans will get to meet Danson again in the spring of 2010.

Although Danson did not get much exposure in Taiwan last year, he received many calls to overseas dramas and commercial shoots. In total, he earned 10 million TWD that was enough for him to buy a house in Keelung for his mother. As he is very filial to his mother, he also hopes to stay in Taiwan.

Reporters tried to get a hold of Danson’s current manager Xiao Ren but she did not answer calls.
