Many people don't realize it, as turkeys are on just about everyone's dinner tables, but they're pretty damned aggressive birds. As a matter of fact, if Benjamin Franklin had his way, it would have become the US national bird instead of the Bald Eagle.

haha lotsa birds are aggressive.. like geese or swans.... theyre scary too... i used to play at a lake when i was little n they would always chase me -_- anyway i never had those huge turkeys like american ppl have for thanksgiving.... wonder if its any good.....

Yeah turkey is pretty violent, I would run too because its not like i can beat it up so i can only run and if i try to scare it im sure it would call my bluff. Its known fact turkeys will gobble you.
