Considering it's a huge chunk of diamond, 3.23 carat of perfectly aligned carbon, but I think the (skeptical/ridiculing) press the two involved are getting isn't worth it for someone their status...

hehe...if it was agreed in the beginning, then it is considered to be a contract..

i think most women would be heartbroken and give it back anyway so my question is: why did their engagement break off? courtesy of the woman or the man?

i don't understand why the woman just don't give back the ring. She's a gold digger.

he should've gotten it on paper ...

  14. LOL if you were a man, would you really print out a contract, dictating the conditions of the relationship and the belongings if the relationship was to fall apart?

i wouldnt be like... "hey fiancee, sign this please, cuz if one of us breaks up, i want you to return my ring"

that would be really retarded lol

but hey...dont u reckon that when u give something to someone its not urs anymore...
i mean come on... if my ex bf would ask back stuff he gave me id think hes such a cheapo....!!!
why do they call a gift a gift?

  17. ^ a ring is a different story cheeks. thats a shit load of money if you just throw it out. its natural to get it back.

and i guess its an exemption to that theory of yours cuz:

well i know that....but in general...some guys wanna have their gifts back...i think thats stupid
if ya wanna give something expensive just give it...if u dont want to do it then dont
but dont make agreements such as...if we break up u have to return
if my bf would give me a ring under that one condition...i wouldnt even be happy to receive it
its more like ur leasing it

  19. so say you were a man put into that situation... would you let your FORMER-fiance keep a 48k ring?

48k... thats a LOT of money... you can by an almost basic caddy cts with that... or something..

  20. MissCheekS

    MissCheekS Reconnaîssant ❤

say if i were that guy.....gift is something thats GIVEN.....
one u give something to someone...i dont think u should claim things go wrong
its his own fault...if he doesnt get it bck...i wouldnt pity him at all....she might be a golddigger but he is the one who gave the 48k ring to her...
so that makes him an idiot? right?

but ok...perhaps this case is different if they both agreed on returnin after break up
