How many of you guys are in Hong Kong. I am sure a bunch of members on this site is from Hong Kong... ..I have only moved back to Hong Kong not so long ago and find that meeting new people in Hong Kong is not as easy as one might think... I want to meet new people but I find it hard... is any one lese in a similar situation or had similar experience....-unsure If so, wat would would you think of a "Meetup in Hong Kong" for PopularAsians' members.... I am always keen on meeting new people...and would like to meet more nice ppl from this forum..
Yes, meeting people in HK is difficult. I noticed that when I was there. The problem is to find a suitable place to meet people from you preference group. If you are a believer, you can try church. Office can also be a good place. If you are an overseas, you can try Overseas Club. A club that is organizing activities and much more. Just to let Overseas people more easy to integrate in HK There site is: www.occlub.org
The best way to meet new people, would have to be through other friends. That is the best and easiest way. But considering youve just moved there, it would prob be easiest to meet people through work or school, etc. I mean the hardest but most straightforward would be just go clubs, arcades, etc and talk to random people

I want to meet new people in HK aswell cos i have a building which is going to be put under my name when i turn 18!!!! And i want to go bck to hk regularly so i want to meet some friends over there
I find the idea of "Meetup in Hong Kong" is very interesting but its pitty that i can't fly to Hong Kong this summer -.-
