So I always use www.megaupload.com to download TVB show and movies. Always no problem from the site. But this afternoon when I use it to download media files from the site, Google Chrome instantly lead me out of the site into another warning site. It said Megaupload is unsafe and will force me to automatically download spyware and trojan.

Well, I was shock since I have been using megaupload for years and never had a problem with it. So I use Mozilla Firefox to try and download from Megaupload, but Firefox reaction was the same, and it lead me to another site, with the option saying, go back to megaupload, or lead me to safety, which was a blank page.

So right now, I'm assuming that someone hacked the site, or it have bad advertisement that cause its user to automatically download bad software.

I had this problem with another site once. I believe it was WTSO site, where I watch The Simpsons. The site was infected with infectious advertisement and always lead me another site and then force download some software, which was some virus that told me I had a virus and need to buy this tool to get rid of it. That was when I used Internet Explorer which didn't lead me safely out of the site

Anyway, onto topic. I was wondering if any of P.A. users had the same problem I'm having now. Cause if the site is unsafe, then I should really now using it for now until the host of the server fix the problem, of if someone can leave a message for when it is safe to use. Or it could just be my Chrome and Mozilla overreacting.

Either way if you read this far, thanks, and hopefully will see some response.
Oh, if there is something I left out that you want to know, please leave a message below, thanks again.

-Here's the message I got from Chrome

MU either had some bad ads, which is really unlikely, that lead it to be classified as unsafe. Or your browser is being stupid. Either way, at the time of posting this, MU is fine for me.

The site MU.com is working fine for me and doesn't lead or is linked to any known bad (blocked) sites..

More likely the site from where you've got your MU link is linked to search.bizdailysearch.com. This site is globally been blocked by Google and therefor you got that warning sign. It's not a browser's a/o a megaupload.com issue.

I hope you didn't download anything (VIRUS=Vista AntySpyware or something in that line) from suspicious popups? Otherwise F***CKK!

    Anyway more information

I love how your post is irrelevant to the whole topic. Anyways, if you had some common sense, you would have gotten adblockplus. Simple.

The kind of ads you see usually depend on what you look for on the net.
So be careful with what you look for when browsing.

Did you try update your JDownloader yet (from my sig)? Usual prob lies within that hosting fileservers eg. hotfiles, fileserve, mediafire, megaupload, etc. changes their codes daily..therefor you'll need to update your JDownloader from time to time to get around all these msgs / problems..

Altho I've never encounter any prob with MU & Jdownloader, only few times with HF & FS =P
