My youtube does this when i make it full screen, it ONLY does this in FF, its annoying, i hate it. is there any way to get it back to normal with the video time/position bar at the bottom or am i the only one who has this crap?
It seems Youtube are in the middle of switching over to that new fullscreen layout, hopefully they'll realise it's worse than it was before. Try clearing your Internet cache and cookies in Firefox. If you've got cookies you want to keep, you can delete only Youtube ones by going to Firefox Options > Privacy > remove individual cookies (or Show Cookies). In the little window that opens, type "youtube" in the search, then select and delete all the ones it finds. More instructions here: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/deleting%20cookies
