i knw this wont happen but i want 2 c michael owen to come back n play 4 liverppol again, i have always thought that owen was a desent player hu can always score goals n i think owen n torres partnership cud wrk. but da only thing is that owen has always got this leg injury.

but wot do u think shud he come back or not??

probably not... u want someone who can complement torres, and owen doesn't seem like the kinda guy that would complement him... u either want a poacher or a target man... Owen and Torres seem to be good at being both, but when u have two players like that, who does alonso or gerrard slip the ball to? who plays the connection between midfield and striker?

gerrard can ply between da midfield n strikers, he was plyin there 4 sum tym last season n it wrked well wif torres they both scored desent amount of goal. then mascherano n alonso will b able 2 ply centre midfield

Yeah...that would be a good partnership. But don't think Owen will be back at Liverpool.

owen is a natural goal scorer so it will be good if we can have him back

As a Liverpool fan for life, I does think it can work...see when people believe Keane n Torres can't work? Now it's starting to work...

I do hope he comes back! Even though now it's rather difficult with Kuyt and Keane arround...and Liverpool still has Voronin, cause he's just on loan.

The only problem that prevent owen from becoming one of the best strikers in England is his injuries. Damn, its like almost every season he will have a long spell on the sidelines. Quite frustrating at times... ><

As a die hard liverpool fan , i wouldn't want owen back. I know he scored loads of goals for us in the past and all that! But he never really needed to leave and could have stayed if he was liverpool thru and thru! I cna't see what he could offer us with the current sqaud. he lost all his pace and he still trying to adjust his game to this and not really a striker in the 15-20 goal mark a season no more! I reckon there is more chance him coming back to liverpool (the city) and joining his boyhood team the toffs! (everton)

Michael Owen is better off at Aston Villa than at Liverpool to be honest ~ O'Neill will get the better of him than Rafa will. Carew, Agbanlahor, Heskey and Owen ~ Need 4 strikers to compete at the top. 2 target men and 2 speedy players. insane!! ~

nope..Once a player quits his team,i think it's goodbye forever
As i've seen so far,the players who are too 'eager' like David Beckham,Owen going for another team, they usually are 'forgotten'...(they don't have that much fame in their team)
