Michael Tse appears to be giving the middle finger TVB received complaints regarding the series "The Family Link" where in a scene, Michael appears to be making a rude hand gesture whilst adjusting his glasses. Other complaints were directed at how Sheren Tang’s character was locked out of her house and had to climb windows to get back in, setting a bad example to children that watch this series. Sheren responded by explaining that the scene was about her child had forgotten his homework and she had to retrieve it for him to prevent a bad report written against him. However she found that she was locked out the house and had to resort to climbing the windows. Sheren emphasised that the scene’s purpose was to highlight how Hong Kong’s education system is flawed in that it can make parents go mad and not to encourage people to climb windows. Sheren also said that John Chiang’s character had scolded her after the incident that it was a dangerous and wrong act, so it was a surprise that the audience had this reaction. However it’s good that parents who find problems on screen can immediately teach their children what is right and wrong. Regarding Michael's rude hand gesture, his manager explains that it was not intentional. Source: Mingpao
