hm... it'd be a little scary to drift with those tires, but I wouldn't mind having them to prevent flats.

Scary if you start running low on tread.

^lols, but the design doesn't look too safe to drive with lol or very durable, but still dunno until i actually drive with it lol, looks like the rides gonna be alot bouncier lols.

I've seen that years ago. I can't recall if it was available in stores at the time but I know it's been around for years.

I've always been curious as to why tires that are entirely made of rubber hasn't been used. I'm sure the inner core of the tire could be made up of softer rubber and in effect act like a cushion against bump and the occasional sidewalk.

in a sense, yes. since traditionally the air in the rubber tires causes the tires to be stiff and inflexible.

but, "flexible tires" is an odd of describing these new invention.

IMO, it would be a great idea to use it as a spare. but, idk. puncturing would be a thing of the past, if these babies come out. and to disable one of these tires isn't just "slashing" a cut ... you need to at least slash a quarter of those "flexible spokes" to disable the wheel.

    interesting design. ;)

it might go mainstream if they manage to cover up the sidewalls so u dont see the insides and so that they look like regular tires... but i doubt it... these things prolly cant handle high speeds and fast cornering... but apollon is right, they would make great lightweight spares

avoid spike strips now!! lol.. that's the first thing i thought of haha
pretty good invention... but high speed bumps may be a problem? (if it's too flexible)
