    Does anyone have a list of compatible Micro SD Card's for my Nokia E71? The most I could find out from the Nokia website is that my phone can only take 8gb Micro SD Cards.

    Most likely, it means Micro SDHC card. I would just go with the 8gb Micro SDHC card, you probably won't need that large.

    I know they mean SDHC but I'm afraid of buying a card that won't work by accident.

    any brand micro sd card will work. (sandisk, kensington, pny, etc) they're all the same. its just different companies brand their logo onto the micro sd card. i have a 4gb in my xperia n i already used up more than 2gb cause of the gps program i got. my phone supports up to 16gb. don't think i'll need that much though

    eumm...

    wtf?

    You can put any microSD in it, it works. I used the normal microSD and it also worked with a friend's microSD HC.

    I doubt the need of SDHC is needed for normal phone.
    Most SDHC cards are usually for Dslr camera for it to write as high speed due to continuous shots of 3-5pic per seconds.
    Bigger memory isnt suitable for cell phone as i heard that it might cause lags. 2-4gb is ideal.

    not really; sdhc only means they are high capacity, non-sdhc only goes up to 4GB (SD v1.0), anything higher like the newer sdhc 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB are (SD v2.0); and the Class is just a speed specification, and it only appears in sdhc because consumer might be confused;

    class 2, min. write speed of 2mb/s
    class 4, min. write speed of 4mb/s
    class 6, min. write speed of 6mb/s
    class 10 (v3.0) is coming in Oct 2009, max 22mb/s

    if a phone is built to support larger cards, they whouldn't lag like the older phones; is not hard to fill it with your collection of mp3's on the go; my phone supports 2GB mspduo and i have 4 to swap whenever i go;

    my friends experience with a-data is negative; all had problems with card error, one lost all of his photos on his first time vacation to japan

    well actually the lag with the phones depends on ur model rather than the size of the card. but u wouldn't rele need anymore than 8gb for a phone tbh. i mean i think 2gb is sufficient if u have a good camera phone to store the pics and 4gb is enough for a smartphone for the apps and gps program. other from that u don't rele need anymore space unless it's a music phone but even then 8gb is enough and most music phones come with that much memory.

    I've had no problems with A-Data so far.
