Even if Microsoft does come out with something 'better' than the iPod, I don't think it could take away the market share from Apple. Even if it's more compatible and user-friendly than iPod's limited functionality to the Apple OS, you just can't beat the iPod. Apple's iPods are already nostalgic, an icon, a staple in the world of MP3 players. I think I read somewhere that said that Apple has about 76% of the MP3 market share.
finally a big player to compete with apple...def interested to see how this so called ms apple develops...maybe they should call it the "microsoft ipod"...
i see it as avoid anything wiv microsoft on it like the plague, btw whats the moon and stars supposed to mean?
Itunes is good for ripping music, as when i insert a music cd into my comp, itunes most of the time find out all the track names, whereas windows media player and realplayer doesn't get the tracks as often. Especially the new chinese albums. Anyway ipods are really cool!
no i mean the itunes online store... like they can probably compete with the player.. but wont be able to take down the service...
I own a video iPod, and since owning it, I will always be true to Apple and iPods, no matter how tedious it's software and maintenance/warranty policies are... It's become a trend, part of fashion ....
lol i thought you weren't one to follow trends?? I got a ipod shuffle which is more than enough... i got it all soup'd up. but i'm plannin on getting another mp3 player soon. I mean with mp3s... all i want is something simple is very portable. but with the bigger ipods it's like taking care of a mini harddrive... and trying to prevent it from dropping. the Video playback seems nice enough... never really seen one in action though... so dunno how good they are...
yep i got one and i have to say its better than my mates ipod video, only -ve point is that its thicker than an ipod
