http://www.microsoft.com/surface/ the newest Tech from microsoft. Apple released some demo vids of tech like this a while ago, but it looks like MS is quicker on the draw.
pft..all that for this...i think i saw this around before...damn..this is gona bug me trying to rmbr where..still interesting though..
it will be expensive... flatscreen televisions are still 1800 dollarsish.. then u need the computer and the OS, i suspect these things will clock in around 3 grand each at first.

so is this the great thing that MS was supposed to release at 12:00am...i can only imagine seeing this in those very high end restaurants or resturants who can bank roll this type of new technology....i'm thinkin its goin to be pretty expensive... kinda interesting...sony just released their flexi screen design...so maybe a colaboration with sony and ms....hmmmmm
wicked that is very cool i remember seeing somethin like this in the movie 'the island' future is closer than u think
Looks neat but how durable are these tables?? What if there is an errate fustrated user who bangs on the table.
^ It looks really awesome but I somehow got the feeling I've seen it before, maybe in some kind of technology education museum? This this will only be affordable for normal consumers in 2017 or so.
i knew i saw something like this before: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLhMVNdplJc&NR http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEax1mJhJQ0&mode=related&search=
this is technology is we need ... the flexible of the computer interface and the luxury of having a console that does "everything" through our touches is just unbelievable. lol. i hope it isn't too expensive.
As Microsoft states: this table will be lauched by winter 2007 for commercial uses. Wondering how it's gonna turn out. I can't believe that you can just throw your digicam on it and it will shows your photo's directly...
It will definitely get commercial use. Restaurant managers could use it, board meetings etc, but consumer use wont see it nor do i think theres any use for it. Hotel management could also use it. Think of the benefits of being able to see vacancies and stuff floor by floor graphically. Dont think i'd really need one in my house unless it got to the point of minority report. would be nice for police departments too i would think.
