UNICEF ambassador Miriam went to Yunan Yao'an province for charity visit. She held a press conference to share her experience during this 3 days trip. She didn't go deep to the disaster area due to safety problem, but had gone up to hills more than 3000 meters high. "Luckily the children were on holiday and not in the classrooms during the earthquake. The adults had gone to the fields. However, many houses have collapsed.
